- Separates laminate from breather and vacuum bag layers – Used in vacuum bagging to create a clean release layer between the laminate and outer materials while allowing excess epoxy to pass through.
- Removes excess epoxy for cleaner laminates – Excess resin bleeds through the fabric and is removed when the peel ply is stripped away, helping control resin content during curing.
- Peels away cleanly without residue – Once cured, the fabric is easily removed, leaving a smooth, textured surface ready for secondary bonding, coating, or finishing.
- Prepares surfaces for bonding and repair work – The textured finish left behind improves adhesion for additional layers, making it useful for fiberglass repair and composite reinforcement.
